GRN provides a range of evangelistic and basic teaching material in audio form, adapted to the need and culture of each language and people group.

Words of Life

These recordings contain short Bible stories, evangelistic messages and songs. They explain the way of salvation and give basic Christian teaching. These are available in nearly 5000 languages, recorded by "mother-tongue" speakers so people identify the language as their own. Most use a storytelling approach.

The Portrait of Jesus

A compilation of Scriptures that share the life of Christ. It is produced by Audio Scriptures International, and is available in more than 50 languages.

The Jesus Story

An audio version of the Jesus Film, a two-hour docudrama about the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke. It is produced by The Jesus Film Project and is available in more than 60 languages.

Other materials

Audiovisuals, sermons, testimonies, and scripture readings are also available from GRN in hundreds of languages.

Words of Life for Seamen: GRN provides cassettes and CDs to several ministries to seamen. Here's feedback from two of them.

From beyond the grave...: Fifteen years ago the New Testament had been translated into WANTOAT, but after the initial enthusiasm, the people lost interest in it. An SIL missionary, with GRN materials, helps them rediscover God's word.

Evangelism in Nigeria: Such was the impact of the Gospel communicated through ordinary plastic material called cassette tape, that almost everybody in the team became a "counsellor".

Gambia outreach: We showed the Mandinka version of the "Jesus" film for several days and shared the gospel house-to-house. About one hundred and sixty people accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord.
