Second Coming - Rapture

What is that? I do not know...it is a trumpet call and hymn more beautiful than I have ever heard before. Maybe the angels make melody like that.

Yes, it was different, and beautiful. Perhaps it may be what we heard from the Bible this week...Oh yes, here it is...
I Cor 15:52.: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

Let us go find out. Here is Paulo's house (knock, knock, Hodi, Hodi) sound of bleating goats and sheep. As though we entered his hut, and the animals are released. Then the sound of clanking metal, as though we stumble over his hoes in the house. He is not there? I wonder.....

Let us go to the house of another Christian family. (knock, knock) "Hello, hello, Yoane and Maria, are you up yet?"...(Silence, then a dog starts barking). "Hello, hello," here it is, nearly lunch time, let's see if they are in...( sound of chickens rushing around as we enter the hut). "Look, their clothes are by the bed where they took them off last night. They are not here...I wonder....

"Oh look, here is Yoane's New Testament...and look where it is opened..(I Thess.4:15-17). It reads: "'This we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not go before them which are asleep. The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain, shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...and so shall we ever be with the Lord.'"

Yes and I remember another verse the missionary told us: (Matt.24:42) "Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord does come."

Let us look in one more house. Here is Timoteo's place. He is clerk to the Chief, and an important man. (Knock, knock). "Timoteo, are you there?" (A cross voice answers) "Come in, my wife has run away during the night. I can't find her. She is a good woman, and never treated me this way before...She always begged me to stop my hypocrisy and really follow the Lord."

--These are only a few incidents, that paint only a faint picture, of what will happen when the Lord does come. It may be any day now. Are you ready, my unsaved friend? When He comes, your day of salvation will be past. The Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood on Calvary to save you and me. But you must take Him into your heart and be truly saved so He will know that you belong to Him.

Christian friend...our Lord Jesus is coming...are YOU ready? Are there some accounts that need straightening up? Some other friends...? He may want you to witness to them also before you go.
