The outreach team visited Bankal and Gar villages. The distribution process include; distribution and demonstration on how to use the MP3 players, SD cards, Good news flipchart, and 5fish app. Jesus film and other films were played at various locations, we had interactive sessions with some community members, local Pastors and Church leaders. We also engaged and taught them how to continue using these materials for on-ward evangelism.
The distribution of GRN materials made a remarkable impact on the communities. Most of these priority areas hardly understand the gospel in the trade or English language. Many villagers expressed joy in hearing the message of Jesus Christ clearly in their own language. These materials created interest among the natives. Both Christian and Non-Christian families gathered to listen together.
Pastors and the natives testified that GRN materials provided them an easy way to communicate the Gospel. The power of language can not be over emphasized. Even Jesus Christ spoke in a language that touches the hearts of his listeners. Indeed, this is a great means of evangelism. Different denominations of local churches partnered with us during the outreach. Pastors and Church leaders indicated their commitment to continue using these materials provided by GRN. The response from the communities demonstrates the continuing need for such initiatives.
