Training for excellence! We have all received training. It is necessary to accomplish an important task. When taught a skill that we feel the need for in our ministry, we want to learn it well. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippines 1:6
The training team and the trainees value your prayers this month as we gather for the recording team training course at the GRN Thailand office to continue the good work that God has begun in us as we serve Him.

Prayer Guide for GRN Thailand February 2025
1. (Sat) Pray for health, strength and safety in travel for all participants coming from eight countries to the GRN recording team training course in Thailand.
2) (Sun) Mary Ann's Mom in the Philippines is gravely ill, so please pray for grace as she stays to care for her Mom. Mary Ann will not be coming to the training in Chiangmai. Her co-worker, Hannah will be coming alone.
3) (Mon) Component One, which concentrates on Audio Recording Techniques, of the recording team training course, begins today. Pray for clear communication and understanding, as English is not the first language of most of the trainees.
4) (Tue) Yoy and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) God's blessing on a children's camp at Sawang Daen Din 7-8 Feb., 2) Teacher Da and her husband as they take a Bible test on the 15th, 3) Compassion Ministry meetings in Ubon the 27th-the 29th, 4) Wisdom, strength and encouragement for Teacher Da and her family and 5) Healing and strength for Song Phan's daughter, Fon, who has an irregular heartbeat and has to have heart dialysis on the 5th of February.
5) (Wed) From the GRNT IT Team: Praise God that GNRT was able to purchase 2 new computers for the office last month. Please pray that all of the electrical equipment and the internet system will work well with no problems in the GNRT office this month during the Recording team training from the 3rd - the 19th.
6) (Thur) Component two of the recording team training course, which begins today and continues through Feb 18, concentrates on script content creation/adaptation, getting best expression from narrators, and language and culture research. Pray for clear communication and understanding.
7) (Fri) Please pray for Jaew to have strength, good health and wisdom in her work and also to learn much through the recording team training in script preparation and language and culture research in the GRNT office along with the rest of the GRNT team and GRN teams from other Asian countries this month.
8) (Sat) From Boi's family: Please pray for the following: 1) Strength and good health for everyone in the family, and wisdom for the girls in their studies, 2) Wisdom and understanding for Boi and Aom as they attend the recording team training course and for them to gain helpful knowledge and experience, and 3) The provision of finances to continue the construction of their house.
9) (Sun) From Lot's family: Please pray for the following: 1) Strength for Maethee as he works at the pharmacy, and for him to know God's voice and clear leading concerning God's choice of a wife, 2) Strength and creativity for Anna in her freelance work, 3) Wisdom and strength for Rappon as she studies and takes tests during this her last term of high school, and 4) Healing from God for Rappon for the chronic skin infection on her hands and feet which comes and goes and for God to lead to the right method to bring relief and healing.
10) (Mon) Phu Thai Nakae and other groups in Nakhon Phanom: Please pray for God's help and blessing with the following: 1) The Bible based diet project, 2) A project to help young women gain helpful life skills, 3) A Christian camp at Nong Waeng Church, 4) The planting of a new church at Aut-Samat District, 5) Ministry in the prison, and 6) The establishing of a fund to help people in the province learn new skills to they can earn more income.
11) (Tue) From Joshua and Gloria: Praise God that Paul's wife, Kwang and baby are healthy and that the construction of Esther Center continues without stopping. Please pray for the following: 1) Joshua and Gloria to be strengthened, 2) The Holy Spirit to give wisdom to shape and guide the W3 youth ministry and the Love Touch Ministry in connection with local churches, and 3) Wisdom for Paul to take care of his family, minister to people, and be a good soccer coach.
12) (Wed) Vietnamese Thai prayer requests: Please pray for the following: 1) ) The children of Gai, Dieu, Chieu (Jiw) and Xot to repent an follow the Lord Jesus soon, 2) Wisdom, good health and safe travel for Pastor Narong, Tinh and the leaders, 3) Healing of Jiw's back (the doctors said that she cannot have an operation yet.) 4) The Lord to open people's hearts when they hear the Gospel, and 5) the Lord to send young people to serve Him in the church.
13) (Thur) Please pray for much fruit from many MP3 players with Karen Sgaw recordings and Hmong recordings that have gone out from the GRNT office recently.
14) (Fri) From Dan and Na Tisdale in the USA: Please pray for good health for all of us. Pray for Na's N-400 US citizenship application, that all the necessary documents will be gathered easily and accompany the application, that her US citizenship will be processed in the Lord's perfect timing and for us to be at peace about that.
15) (Sat) Please pray for the Urak Lawoi to have a good location and finances to build a new place to worship because the current building is too small and in a tight slum community.
16) (Sun) Ugong: Please pray for the following: 1) The Holy Spirit to draw 61 year old Wat, who believed in Jesus before, back to the Lord. Pray that Wat will call on Him for help with his kidney problem. He has to clean his kidneys every 3 hours, 2) Good health for Tida's sister, Angli who has a joint problem and cannot walk well, and Jam's husband who has high cholesterol, 3) Good health for everyone in the village, 4) Khampi and other friends to be able to lovingly encourage her husband to quit drinking, 5) A good price for the yucca crop and sugarcane, 6) Ton Kla, who is 10 years old, to be able to understand the Thai language taught at school, and 7) Maak and Jam to have good Christian testimonies to others.
17) (Mon) Phu Thai Renu and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) People to help their children follow the Lord and bring them to Sunday School, and for God to provide dedicated Sunday School teachers, 2) People who have strayed from the Lord to return to Him, 3) God to provide spiritually minded leaders in Renu Nakhon district, and 4) Wisdom and strength for the team who leads a fellowship group at Mrs. Kham-manee's home the first Saturday of every month.
18) (Tue) The recording team training course finishes today. Pray for each trainee to be enabled by the Lord to put into practice methods back in their own countries. Praise God for getting us through these days of training.
19) (Wed) So Thavung Group: Please pray for the following: 1) Good health for everyone in the village including the elderly, 2) Maliwan, Khan and her husband, Canthip and Jen to trust in Jesus alone, 3) The Holy Spirit to draw to Himself the people who heard the Gospel during the time of translation and when they listened to the recording before, 4) Wisdom, good health and safe travel for Pastor Lek, his family and other leaders and their families, 5) Finances for Pastor Apiset and his family who want to build a home in Loei Province, and 6) Pastor Lek and his family to be able to sell their land.
20) (Thur) Nyeu: Please pray for wisdom in planning to distribute MP3 players with the new Nyeu recording and in working with the local church to reach the Nyeu for Christ.
21) (Fri) Nyaw Group: Please pray for the few Nyaw believers to develop good relationships with people in the community to be able to share God's love and truth with them.
22) (Sat) Thai Song Dam Group in Kanchanaburi Province: Please pray for the following: 1) Good health and strength for Pastor Song, Rachel and Mem, 2) Sufficient finances for 2025, and 3) An increase in church membership and for the believers to grow and be mature in Christ.
23) (Sun) The recording team of ministry partners (not GRN staff) in a nearby country: Praise the Lord that the workers had time with their loved ones during the lunar holidays. Please pray for the following: 1) Safety in travel, good health and wisdom for one couple as they receive further training, 2) Strength and good health for those working together with the team from the villages, along with their children, during the cold season, 3) Wisdom for the recording team to help others finish script checking, recording paperwork and processing the recordings in 2 languages, 4) Encouragement, strength and healing from lung cancer for Nuu, the team leader's mother, who is 67 years old, and 5) Giap, a language helper's brother, to be strong in the Lord and want to read His Word and apply that to his life daily.
24) (Mon) Thai Song Dam (from Suphanburi Province) and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) The children to attend the Good News clubs on Saturdays regularly, 2) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Chalao and Ploy as they teach children, serve in the church and visit believers and new believers, 3) Continued improvement in opening her mouth and in speaking for Ploy, who had jaw surgery a month ago, 4) Good health and strength for all of the church members and the elderly, and 5) God to bless people who regularly support the church, and for them to be able to continue to give financially.
25) (Tue) Nyah Kur and Isaan Groups: Praise God that Betty has a good church to fellowship at. Please pray for the following: 1) Betty's relatives to come to know Jesus as their Savior, 2) Good health and strength as she and her sister in law go through another winter in Ireland, 3) Thep's stepfather to get well soon from his lung infection, 4) Thep to be strong physically and spiritually, 5) Good health and safe travel for Santi and his family as they go to the mountain church faithfully, and 6) Strength, safety and good health for all of the pastors, church leaders and church members.
26) (Wed) Isaan and other Groups: Please pray for the following: 1) The church to have sufficient finances, 2) God's blessing on a new believer, the son of Mrs. Bok (Mrs. Bok also believed recently), 3) Mrs. Lot's family who is interested in the Gospel, 4) Wisdom, strength and sufficient finances for their needs for Pastor Prasit's family as they serve the Lord and for them to have more regular customers to buy their sweets, 5) Strength and good health for June's family and God's blessing on their dessert shop that it will prosper, and 6) Strength and good health for Pastor Supote and his family, and for God to bless their ministry and their selling of sweets.
27) (Thur) Lawa in Pae Village: Please pray for the following: 1) God to guide and provide as the church plans to add on to the storage room and build a house for the church, 2) Healing for Dough's right arm which is painful and for his mother who has ear issues, 3) Strength and good health for all of the church members and the elderly during the remainder of the cold season, and 4) See's family to walk close to Jesus and for Chat to attend church regularly.
28) (Fri) Phu Thai and other groups in Sakhon Nakhon and Mukdahan Provinces: Please pray for the following: 1) Wisdom to follow up the "One leads two" ministry, 2) God to revive the church, 3) The team as they teach and care for 4 cell groups, and 4) Wisdom, good health, strength and encouragement for Pastor Wichai and his family and Pastor Meesak as they serve the Lord.
