1st.- I'm not a bit interested in religion. No matter which religion it is, I don't believe. I live one day at a time. I eat, drink and run around. When I die, that will be all.
2nd.- God is concerned about you, even more than you are interested in yourself.
1st.- If I'm not interested in myself, then why will I work and get tired out like I do?
2nd.- Your concern for yourself in this life will come to an end. But after death, aren't you even a little concerned about your soul, that will have to suffer the torment of hell in the lake of fire?
1st.- Who is going to judge and punish us? And what do you have, to show that there will be a judgment and punishment?
2nd.- The Bible - Hebrews 9:27 says: "It is appointed to man to die once and after that there is the judgment." Acts. 17:31 says, "The Lord has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness."
1st.- Those who will be judged will receive what kind of punishment?
2nd.- Revelation 20:13 says: "Everyone was judged according to his works. This is the second death, which is the lake of fire. Whoever was not written in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire."
1st.- Uh...there is the second death. Well, is there the first death too?
2nd.- Death in our body here, when the breath leaves the body, that is the first death. Enduring suffering in the lake of fire forever without end, we call the second death.
1st.- Just now you said that God is concerned about me. What is He concerned about? Is He really concerned about ME?
2nd.- God is concerned that you have to enter into the judgment. He is really concerned. Not only concerned just for you, but is concerned for and pities all men.
1st.- If God is merciful and pities man, why doesn't He just do away with judgment?
2nd.- Not only is God full of love, but also He is holy and just. In His holiness and justice He is at direct enmity with sin and wickedness, and it is necessary to punish according to the fruits of sin and wickedness.
1st.- What must I do to be free from the judgment and punishment?
2nd.- Please listen to John 3:17, 18. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through that Son. Whoever believes in the Son does not have to be judged, but whoever doesn't believe must be judged, because he did not believe in the name of the only Son of God." God the Judge Who is just, has already judged your sin by laying it on His Son Jesus Christ, the only beloved Son of God. You can be free from the judgment by putting your faith in Jesus.
