Umbhalo Weskripthi
I will show you in the Bible how salvation through Christ is by faith. First, those who accept Christ have the power to become the children of God (John 1:12). Second, God loves us and gave His Son so that we can be saved by believing on Him (John 3:16). Third, believing is by hearing--and hearing the word of God (Rom 10:17).
Now I will tell you what binds these three points together. Hear and believe, and you will be saved. Hear and believe, and your soul will be saved. The Apostle Paul says: "Faith is by hearing, and hearing by God's Word." And our Lord Jesus Christ said to His disciples, "Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you" (John 15:3). He said, "You have not done any work to save yourselves, but you are saved only by hearing My word and receiving it." "Truly, truly, I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him Who sent Me, HAS everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24). Who said this, taught this, and is coming again? It's our Lord Jesus Christ. So believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will become His disciple.
Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded His disciples like this, saying, "Go into all the world and preach this Gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned." (Mark 16:16). He who believes in Christ will not have judgment. So, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. When our Lord Jesus Christ was on this earth, He said,"Truly, truly, I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him Who sent Me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned. But he that believes not in the Name of the only begotten Son of God is condemned already. And this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every man who does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (John 3:17-21).
