Umbhalo Weskripthi
I would like to talk to you about the first words in Malachi 4:1-3. "For behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven."
Everywhere we read that there is much trouble on the earth today. We hear of wars, plagues, famines, nothing to wear, disease, sudden destruction, and many other things. When the non-Christian hears of these things, what does he do? He goes to his dream interpreters, or leans upon the things of his own strength. But what does the Christian do? He goes only to his God. For is not God our refuge and strength; our help in time of trouble? Yes, He is, and because of this, we will not fear what may happen to us or the world.
What will happen in the last days? The wicked will be judged for their refusal to accept Christ. Their punishment is everlasting. There is no rest from it at all. It will mean everlasting separation from the presence of the Lord. But the Christians will be saved by the presence of the Lord. The Christians will be saved by the Son of Righteousness, even as His Word says. We will all be under His wings and protected. We will have the light of life.
"How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? That which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him."
My closing word is this, "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved." Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ today.
SONG: "Have you received Jesus? He died for you, He wants you all. Do you want Him? Do you really want Jesus? Say so now. 'Yes, Jesus, I want you. You are my Lord.'"
