Maandishi ya Hati
"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." In that promise we have everything that we need. The Lord is our tender, kind Shepherd Who cares for us, his sheep. He will hold us by the hand. He will protect us from every evil thing. He will supply our every need. He will fill our hearts with His peace. You know the Bible tells us Christians, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding; shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
"In nothing be anxious." No anxiety should be found in a real believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Although our trials may be many and our afflictions and difficulties numerous, there should be no worry under any circumstances because we have a Shepherd who loves us and has power to help us. This good Shepherd is the Lord Jesus Christ Who gave his life on the cross to save us, and is living today to keep us. He will be our righteousness. His joy and delight is to help us at all times.
If you have never become a child of God, receive Him today as your own personal saviour so that this shepherd may be your shepherd, too, and then you can have the comfort of His care and of His love. Then, as He promised, Goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
(Note: With this script it would be well to use Psalm 23 or a shepherd song. Just one part of the script can be used if that is all there is time for)
