Power in the Blood

"And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin." These words are written in God's Holy Book-about the precious blood of Jesus Christ, God's only Son. Here is a chorus we sing:

"There is power, power, wonder working power, in the blood of the Lamb There is power, power, wonder working power In the precious blood of the Lamb."

This chorus speaks of the same precious blood of Jesus that is able to cleanse from all sin. It is sin which separates each man, woman, and child from God. Without the precious blood of Jesus, there is no cleansing from that sin. Everyone has sin in his heart. We are born sinners from the beginning. "Behold I was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me." God knows that we are all sinners, and we cannot help it. He wants to help us to be cleansed from, an so sent His only Son to die on the Cross of Calvary where He shed His divine cleansing blood. There is no other remedy that can cleanse the heart of a man, woman, boy, or girl - except the blood of Jesus. Because of this, the blood is very precious and powerful. However, no remedy is any good unless those who need it use it, and we must each one take by faith the blood of Jesus to cleanse our hearts from sin, in order to be saved and receive eternal life.

Speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God says, "In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace," and "without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin."

Receive by faith the cleansing of blood of Jesus Christ today, and thank Him for dying for you.
