Scenarijaus tekstas
My people, I want to pass on to you a message from God. Some of you are in trouble. Some of you are hungry; you have no work; the times are difficult. David said, "Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies?" Why are you so weary? Has God left this country? We are a free people. Why do we suffer as those who are still oppressed?
I want to make you understand this word, "Liberty." It is written in God's book, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Some say there is not enough liberty in this land but if that is true, it is because there is not enough of the Spirit of the Lord. What do you think yourselves? Do people do as God commands them? Do they love each other? Do they help each other? Do they speak the truth? Do they flee from fornication and adultery? You know there are those who steal, who lie, who kill, who worship things that are not God. These things are not of the Spirit of God, but of the spirit of Satan. Then how can there be true liberty?
Many years ago Solomon stood before God and begged God for His blessing on the people. The Lord answered him this: "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and look to Me and change their evil ways, then I will listen to them, and I will pardon their sins and I will heal their land." God does not change. As He was that day, so He is today. He waits to bless us. But He cannot help us until we obey Him. We must leave our sinful ways and pay attention to His will. Then He will bless us and heal our land, and we will have real liberty. But you say your sins are too strong; you cannot do as you would like. That is true. There is no one able to overcome his sinful ways by himself. You are in prison. Satan has captured you and turned you to himself and bound you. But hear this word from God: "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." Where is this truth? Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to God but by Me." He said you would know the truth and the truth would make you free. Now you are serving Satan with your sinning. You do not know Christ. But Christ can free you if you will believe in Him. He can take away your sins because He suffered for you. He, Who is God Himself, gave His body to be the sacrifice for your sins. He died that you might not follow Satan to the place of fire. Thank Him for this gift. Turn to Him, believe on Him, and He will give you true liberty from the hand of Satan. His Spirit will live within you to do that which is good. He will give you peace and joy in your heart.
