ຂໍ້ຄວາມສະຄຣິບ
Today many people worry about different things. Men and women worry about
their families and about their daily food. Young people worry about the
modern fashions, what they should wear or buy. They worry about money and
many other things. They worry about having work.
Believers who follow Jesus the Messiah have trusted in Him to change their
hearts and forgive their sins. They have trusted Jesus to save them and forgive them,
but they can also trust Him to help them in trouble and hardships.
What about you? Are you worrying? What are your troubles? Tell them to
Jesus and God will grant you your requests. Jesus told us, "Ask and you shall
receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you."
As a good Heavenly Father, God answers our prayers when we pray in Jesus' name,
but we must be patient for God's answers. Sometimes He says, "No," because He sees
it would not be good for us, or perhaps our motives are wrong. Sometimes He says, "Wait a while."
Do you know that God cares for you? If not, trust Him now, and say to Him, "I
am sorry, Lord, because I never knew You cared for such a person as I.
Forgive me for my ignorance, O Lord, my Saviour." Surely He will forgive you
and give you a new understanding.
See how beautiful the flowers are, and how happy the birds of the air are!
The Lord cares for them all! How much more do you think God cares for you,
a special one whom He has made? I know sometimes we talk much about our
problems and do little about them. When you have a problem, stop asking yourself, "Why?",
but rather, pray about it. It is better to light a lamp than to complain of
the darkness.
Today, let us pray and bring our problems to Jesus, because He has told us in His book
that if we have any problems we must tell Him. He even knows our problems
before we come to Him for help. He only waits to hear our voice. Jesus is
our best friend; we need not be afraid to talk to Him.
In the Holy Bible there are many words of promise for God's children. Listen. Here are some of the words God has given so that we will know that He loves and cares for us. God says, "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you."
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."
(Psalm 37:3-11) "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord: trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace."
(16-19) "Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. The days of the blameless are known to the Lord, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty. "
(23-24) "The Lord delights in the way of the man whose steps he has made firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand."
(28) "For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake His faithful ones."
(39-40) "The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him."
