False Gods

스크립트 텍스트
Do you know where the real, living God is, the One Who made heaven and earth, sun, moon, stars, and Who made us? Listen and I will tell you. There is only one God. There are not a number of gods. There is only our Creator, Who lives eternally in heaven. But we forgot Him; we sinned; we took the devil for our father, and thus we turned away from God. We made false gods, and worshipped the devil. We even made crosses. We whittled them out of wood; we sought hardwood.
This was in vain. The wooden cross doesn't have a soul; it can't defend us. We offer incense and candles to it, but it doesn't answer us. But if we believe in the living God, He answers our prayers, and He defends us, and He saves us.
Also, those things which are in the world (idols) are in vain; they cannot speak. In vain they have eyes; they cannot see anything. In vain they have ears; they can't hear anything. In vain they have noses; they can't breathe. In vain they have hands, they can't take hold of anything. In vain they have feet; they can't walk. But the living God is to be honoured and obeyed. He found a substitute to pay for our sins. He sent His own Son. Thus Christ came to the world; He obtained our salvation. He gave us everything there is in the world. He gave us our food, corn, beans. God gave us everything we need.
Also, whatever we ask Him for, He gives us. He saves us and protects us. Our Creator defends us. We ought to believe in Him, we ought to give ourselves to Him, now that He has found us by seeking. Out of the goodness of His heart our Lord came to save us; He came to take us out of slavery to the devil. Formerly we were servants of the devil; the devil had deceived us, and he tempts us to sin. Thus we had turned away from God, we had forgotten Him.
Since our Lord came to seek us, and since He gave us our souls, we ought to come to know the living God, and go to be with Him forever.
