Nilan was born into a Christian family in Sri Lanka, and is a professional Accountant. He worked in Financial, Management Accounting and Administration roles in a senior capacity in Sri Lanka. He has also worked in Saudi Arabia and Botswana before migrating to, and working in Australia. He joined GRN Australia in 2018 and is currently serving as the Business Manager.
He is responsible for the finance department of GRN Australia. He also supervises the office administration functions and provides back office support to the operations. He is also a Company Secretary.
Nilan is married to Shanika, and they have two children. The family has been actively involved in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Baulkham Hills since 2005.
