Sam's role as European Regional Director (ERD) involves overseeing the work of GRN in Europe, accompanying each leader and the development of each European centre. He works on building relationships between the centres and facilitating their collaboration. He also spends time promoting the work of GRN, networking and developing ministry partnerships in Europe.
Sam is originally from Bordeaux, France and is currently based in Sisteron. He worked in the plastics industry for 10 years before becoming a full-time missionary. He spent 11 years in Douai in the north of France with the church-planting mission France Pour Christ and joined GRN as ERD in 2021.
His wife Mary is from Scotland. They have two grown children and two younger children who, with Mary, also enjoy serving God through GRN.
Alongside his work with GRN, Sam remains involved with France Pour Christ as part of their board. He is also on the boards of BLF, a Christian publishing house, and Spring Harvest holidays in France.
