In this age of technology the Lord is showing us innovative ways to share the gospel with those who have never heard of Jesus. Having languages in a digital format is allowing for many new possibilities. Mp3 files are used not only in mp3 players, but also on iPods, PDAs and now cell phones! It is possible these days to download digital files onto a cell phone.

The concept has great potential since most missionaries carry a cell phone wherever they go. It is a simple and familiar tool that has the potential to share the gospel.

Initial tests have shown that we can have over 1300 language samples on one phone. Beaming over Bluetooth is an excellent way to pass the messages along. This whole concept has challenges to overcome but the idea of using a cell phone to introduce the gospel to someone who has not yet heard of Jesus is very exciting!
