What shall I believe in order to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved and your house. You must know many things in order to believe.
1) You must know that we have all sinned.
2) You must know that we must be saved from sin.
3) You must know that you cannot save yourself from sin.
4) You must know that sin sends us to hell.
5) You must know that only Christ can save us from hell.
What must I do to be saved from sin? Only by accepting the gift of God will you be saved from your sin. God loves us and gave His Son, and by believing in Him we will be cleansed. We must believe that Christ died for our sins, and that He was raised after three days.
Believe that God raised Him from the dead. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteous; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (ROM.10:9-10). "And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses."(ACTS 13:39). We must confess our Lord Jesus Christ before men. "Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven." (MATT. 10:32-33). We must confess Him, and give testimony to Him before all men. Our Lord Jesus Christ said this in the Bible.
"And I say unto you My friends, be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you of whom you shall fear: Fear him, which after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yes, I say unto you, fear him." (LUKE 12:4-5). We must fear the Word of God only. "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 'If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.'"(JOHN 7:37). "Jesus said unto him, 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.'" (JOHN 14:6). May God give you a heart which believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will get everlasting life. AMEN.
