Kevin and Ruth work for Galcom International in Canada, with Ruth being seconded back to GRN.
Ruth managed the studio in GRN USA for a number of years, and took on the massive job of organizing the data of over 22,000 pieces of media (records, reels, cassettes, etc.) dating back to 1940. Most of this data had never been entered into a computer system. With the help of many volunteers almost all of this data has now been entered. Ruth continues to work from Canada, entering the remaining data and improving the quality of what's already in the database.
Kevin did not always aspire to be a missionary, but by the time he finished college, God had put it in his heart to join Global Recordings Network USA (GRN). He had been volunteering there for several years. He set up their Linux servers to handle their email, website, authentication, storage and other stuff, and wrote software for them. He now works for Galcom, a ministry that does radio broadcasting and also manufactures solar-powered radios and MP3 players. He continues to support the software he wrote for Ruth's data work.
