Once there was a little boy who lived by the sea. He used to love to watch the big and little boats. (Pause 5 sec. (.water, boat whistles) He wished he had a boat. One day he said, " I will make myself a boat." So he chopped down a little tree and began making a boat with his knife. It looked just like his Dad's big boat. (Pause 3 sec....water) He loved to go out to the edge of the water when the soft waves broke on the shore and put his little boat in the water. It rocked back and forth with the waves. Suddenly a big wave came and took the little boat way out so far he couldn't see it. He felt so badly he cried. Then something happened. One day, when he was walking down the street, he saw a boat in the window. He looked and looked. Yes, that was his little boat. He was very happy and ran inside and said to the store keeper, "That's my boat in the window. Give it to me." The store keeper said, "Tut, Tut, what makes you think it is yours?" "Because I made it," answered the little boy.
"That doesn't matter", said the man. "If you get it from me you will have to buy it." The little boy was sad again, but he decided he would work until he could earn enough money to buy it back.
Finally he came back with some money jingling in his pockets. He gave it to the man and said, "Give me my boat." He hugged his boat tight and said, "Now you are mine two times. Once when I made you, and once when I bought you."
Jesus Christ made the world, for He is God. He also made us, but we didn't love Him and we strayed farther and farther away, and went deeper and deeper into sin. How sad Jesus was to see us go far away from Him. He wanted us so much that he went to the cross and died for us. He paid the price of His blood so that He could get us back. He calls, "Come unto Me", but some people still will not hear His call.
Will you say, "Jesus, I come to You. I want to be Yours forever." He will take you in His arms and say, "You are twice mine. I made you and I bought you." And from now on He will keep you.
"You are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
