Global Recordings Network is a global alliance of approximately 50 operations (Centres and Bases) around the world, connected by a common commitment and agreement to the GRN Constitution.
Centres may or may not be financially independent but are self governing under their own local Board and are staffed by mainly local personnel. Bases are under the authority of which ever Centre that funds them or brought them into being.
The GRN International Council is made up of the Directors of all Centres. It meets once every four years and has responsibility for the Constitution and the appointment of the International Leadership Team.
GRN Centres and Bases are grouped geographically. Each appoints a Regional Coordinator to facilitate communications, planning and member care.
National Directors or Board members appointed by the GRN International Council work with the International Director to provide global leadership.
Coordinators who support and serve the global network in aspects of GRN work such as recordist training, information systems, global studio and member care.
