Script Text
Dear young people: Do you have a few moments to listen? I want to have a little talk with you about what it means to live as a true Christian.
There are some who accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour who think that they can be Christians and at the same time do the things of the world. They think they can have Christ and the pleasures of the flesh all at the same time.
Now, the Lord says to people who have the world as their friend, "You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?" "Wherefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
When Jesus comes into our hearts, we are new creatures. "Old things are passed away." Many of the things we loved before, we hate now, and many of the things we hated before, we love now. We don't say, "I wonder if I can do this or that and still be a Christian," but rather, we come to the Lord and we say, "Oh Lord Jesus, what can I do to please You? What can I do to honour You and make You happy?" And we know that nothing brings Him more joy than our pure love and our service in faithfulness.
At the right hand of the Lord, there are pleasures forever more. He just fills our hearts with joy and happiness when we trust in Him. Surrender your heart to Him and trust Him fully, and He will bless you and make others desire to have a life like yours. Come to Him, repenting. Walk in obedience to the light that shines from His Word, and He will cleanse you from all your past waywardness and make your heart as white as snow. "If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin."
