Traditionally hunter-gatherers, they used to move from place to place, looking for water and food. As opportunities for hunting decrease, more work on farms for white farmners, rearing cattle. Some earn money by making crafts. The government has helped by providing boreholes, medical amenities, school ect. But there are few jobs, and the NARO are looked down upon.
