1. CANADA - There is a great need for potential and new donors not to hesitate any longer, but to respond quickly to support GRN on a monthly basis. Pray that new donors will take the step of supporting the ministry of GRN Canada.
2. CANADA - Ruth Horan, asks for prayer as she continues her ministry of checking thousands of files of recorded material and see the information is uploaded to the GRN server.
3. KENYA - Kenya has been experiencing widespread unrest. Please pray for Walter, James, Yousif and Vivian and their families. James and Yousif have been working on editing and programming. Walter's wife, Pauline, works in a village many hours away from her family.
4. INDONESIA - Indonesian recordists will be recording in 5 languages and doing distribution in 3 more. Pray for safety in travel to difficult remote places, and successful recordings.
5. CANADA - Mark Griffin, continues to look for opportunities to share with churches, businesses and individuals about the ministry of GRN Canada. Pray that many fruitful doors will be opened to him.
6. PHILIPPINES - Pray for the Philippines team as they prepare for a recording trip to the country's extreme south. Pray for God's provision for health, safe travel, functioning equipment and language helpers who speak well with good expression.
7. PAKISTAN - The team is breaking new ground and pioneering a deaf ministry in Pakistan. Deaf communities make up a large segment of the unreached and unengaged people groups left in the world. Pray for them to find ways to reach out into the deaf community around them and make sure they have access to the story of Jesus in their sign language!
8. KENYA - GRN Director in Kenya asks for prayer for the political situation there, as the people call for the president to resign. Pray for the Christians in Kenya to shine for the Lord in all these difficulties.
9. CANADA - Mark Griffin, Executive Director asks for prayer that businesses, missions supporting organizations and churches will donate generously and / or take up unrestricted missions offering for GRN.
10. PAKISTAN - Give thanks for the Pakistan team as they pray, make disciples and record the story of Jesus in the languages of their nation. Please pray for them as they seek to record all the major Pakistan languages along with minor speech varieties which come to their attention.
11. MYANMAR - Give thanks for David and Stephen in Myanmar who are currently finishing off a New Testament they recorded months ago. Pray for the nation as it struggles through unrest with a sizable proportion of the population displaced from their homes.
12. TOGO - Recordists visited an area where messages were recorded in 2002, and found that there are now several churches growing among the people there. New recordings were made in Temberma, Sola Kanti, and Lamba Kadjala. Pray for fruit from these messages.
13. TECHNICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT - The Technical Services department handles computer support for Australia and much of the GRN world. They develop and operate many global applications such as the audio/video production system and 5fish and take care of GRN's property and warehousing. Pray for manager Rob McDonell and team members David Miller, Graham Schabel, James Thomas, David Nolan, Geoff Wong and Tim Wildig.
14. BANGLADESH - Give thanks for Milton and Moloy in Bangladesh. They have been editing and programming recent recordings and visiting various Christian Conventions, where they distribute GRN materials and raise awareness of 5fish and YouTube videos in their own languages.
15. CANADA - David Elliott is thankful for the volunteer help of Diane Roberts. She comes into the office once a month to do payroll and help with the financial program.
16. EUROPE - Pray for Sam Bouix, as he works to strengthen Boards in Switzerland and the UK, and as he encourages and guides leadership in several European countries.
17. INDIA - India is a vast country with many languages and language varieties (dialects). Thank God that the recent elections did not give a majority to the Hindu-based government, which has passed mandates to persecute minority groups, including Christians. Pray for efforts to restart GRN India.
18. MALAYALAM - Praise God for progress in recording the Look, Listen & Live series in Malayalam. There are 5 Malayalam-speaking language helpers who are helping Brad and Noel in translating and recording these messages in their heart language.
19. Congo - Pray for the distribution of materials through the 5fish app. One teacher there used this method to play the Scriptures and stories for many students in a pygmy area. The king's wife accepted the Lord and loves playing her Christian CDs for others.
20. Bangladesh - The team in Bangladesh has recently completed recordings in the Koda language and attended some local conferences. Ask our Lord to bless and increase their recording efforts. Pray for the distributed materials to successfully spread the Gospel to many people.
21. 5FISH EVANGELISM - Please pray for the launch of 5fish version 3. Pray for effectiveness in spreading the word about resources that are ready and easy to find in many different languages. Pray for successful promotion and advertising of 5fish, especially on social media platforms.
22. SWITZERLAND - Please pray for director Philippe, who is seeking new workers and Board members. Pray the Lord will provide the funding they need to carry out their responsibilities for supporting GRN work in West Africa.
23. KENYA - Pray for Yousif and Vivian, living and working in Nairobi, Kenya, on a recording assignment. Pray for Yousif as he continues with his editing and programming work and as he plans future recordings. Also, for safety, as he was robbed of his phone and glasses recently.
24. USA - The USA team is diligently and consistently praying for the Lord to call committed and mission-minded believers to join the staff working in the Arizona office. May He bring those who are willing and able to use their gifts and talents to serve God in this mission.
25. MALAWI - Recordist Joel, accompanied by a believer named Gracious, was able to share GRN messages to a group of 50 people, most of whom were Muslim. There was very positive response. The team was also able to record some Scripture passages for the group, and continuing translations are in progress.
26. CANADA - Please pray for a "breakthrough" with many who love GRN and what GRN does, but have not actually given yet financially to the ministry.
27. SPAIN - Pray for Joel and Judith as well as Carlos and Valeria in Spain as they represent GRN. They are working on the translation of the Tumi Tiger Script into Spanish, one of the most spoken languages in the world.
28. SOUTH AFRICA - Praise God for Joel who has recently spent a month in Kananga (Congo) training Pierre as a GRN recordist. Together, they recorded ten programs in the Tshiluba language, which centered on various Christian teaching topics. These recordings were based on material written years ago by missionaries with an African context in mind.
29. SCRIPT TEAM - Pray for the Script Team, as they look at ways to improve the script library and help recording teams make good choices regarding what material they record.
30. We praise God for ongoing provisions for our work through the donations of faithful givers. From early on in our ministry, it has been our ethos to move forward in faith, even when finances seem doubtful. God's supply has been consistent, often at the last moment.
