There is only one true God. Deut. 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
Isa. 45: 5, 6, 22. I am the Lord, and there is none else. Look unto me and be saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
He whom we should worship is God only. Matt. 4:10 - You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.
Exodus 20:3-5 You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them.
All people are sinners. Rom. 3:10, 23 There is none righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Eccl. 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, who does good, and sins not.
Mark 7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these evil things come from within and defile the man.
I Cor. 6:9,10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
The reward of sin. Rom. 6:23 - The wages of sin is death.
Heb. 9:27 It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Rev. 21:8 The fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.
You are unable to save yourself. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us.
Eph. 2:8,9 For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
The love of God. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Christ died for our sin. I Cor. 15:3,4 As it is written in the Scriptures, Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day.
II Cor. 5:21 God made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
I John 1:7 If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Eph. 1:7 According to the riches of His grace, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins through His blood.
