Script tekst
You have all seen a big truck. It is strong, it goes fast and it can haul a lot of things. Everyone is afraid of it when it passes with a lot of noise. But all of a sudden, the truck turns over and the passengers are thrown out. What happened? A small nail; yes, just a small nail, stops even the biggest truck. A lot of little termites gnaw the roof of a big house, and during the next tornado, the roof is taken by the wind. A grasshopper in a grain field is nothing. But, if they come in thousands, the whole crop will be devoured by them, and the people will have nothing to eat. When the grain is ripe, the people need to continually chase away the birds, so they won't eat everything. And, the bird is even small. Even though the bird is small, it can do a lot of damage.
Have you ever realized that it is the little sins that send a lot of people to hell? People don't commit sins that are big in their sight, but they aren't careful about the sins that seem small in their sight. And the little sins don't stay alone. They become numerous, and the little sins become big sins. First, you steal a little, and then a little more, or you tell a little lie, and then a bigger lie, etc. When we commit little sins, we are trapped by Satan and we can't help committing the big sins. In God's sight, there aren't any little sins, nor big sins. Every sin is disobedience towards God, and all that, God hates.
A lot of men started their life of sin with a little bottle of bierre, then two bottles, etc. After, they were short of money and they started to steal. Then they started to chase women that were already married. There were riots, and then this brought poorness and for them it was impossible to leave this misery. The devil causes a lot of unhappiness to those who listen to him, for he says "A little sin is nothing. Everyone does it." But God tells us in His Word: "Reject the sins that you commit so easily, run ahead, having your eyes fixed on Jesus." (Heb. 12:1-2) A small sin, yes, a very small sin, has sent even the most righteous man to hell. A small theft, small lie, love of money, adultery, love for the things that your neighbor has, hate, jealousy, disobedience, unbelief, magic, and all other things that God has forbidden in His Word, are sins in God's sight, and bring condemnation to man. He who has committed or transgressed one sin or one commandment of God is already condemned by Him.
All sins, little and big, must leave our lives. How? When Jesus came to live amongst men, John the Baptist said "Here is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world." It is Jesus, the Lamb of God, Who died in our place, on the cross, and made it possible for us to be pardoned from our sins, little or small. Come to Jesus. Confess your sins, and leave them behind. He is ready to forgive you for your sins and cleanse you of all sin.
Our nature is to sin, and because of that, our nature must change. Only Jesus can do that. Come to Him humbly and confess your sins. Ask Him to change your nature and give you eternal life. He will do it.
