"I was in prison and you visited me." (Matthew 25:36)
Our prison ministry developed surprisingly quickly. A prisoner asked us if we would tell him and several others the story of Jesus. The GRN Cameroon team responded by sharing GRN resources with the prison inmates.
One of the prisoners spoke out on behalf of the group, "We prisoners have real need of bread, but our overwhelming need is for the Word of God. It is such a pity that we are abandoned, left to our own devices. Why are we forgotten? Are we not also souls for whom the Saviour has died for and whom He wishes to save?"
How could we not respond? GRN Cameroon is now participating in prison ministry, sharing the story of Jesus through GRN materials.
