Thank you for drawing on His abundant resources by your prayers for our daily requests this month. May we see fruit to His glory.

Prayer Guide for GRN Thailand September 2025

1) (Mon) Jon and Clair's daughter-in-law, Lauren Rulison, gave birth to Forest and Lauren's first child on 4 August, a baby girl, Rosemary. She was born a few days early since Lauren's water broke on August 3. Praise God for a safe birth. Pray that Forest and Lauren will have knowledge, courage and wisdom to raise Rosemary in the Lord's ways.

2) (Tue) Pray for safety in travel and good times of refreshing as Jon and Clair visit their children this month, Paul and Brook in Nevada and Forest, Lauren and Rosemary in Colorado.

3) (Wed) Regarding the three paraplegics: Nari, Oat and Nueng. Thank God for good weather and God's blessing on Nari's funeral 20-22 August. Pray for the following: 1) Comfort for Nari's family and friends as she passed away on 20 August and salvation for family members who don't know Christ, 2) Good health for Oat and God's help to think wisely as he teaches, studies and plans for the future, 3) Growth in grace and God's blessing on Eye, Oat's older sister, who is a new Christian, and 4) Complete healing for Nueng as his post-surgery wound needs to continue to heal and for wisdom for the doctor.

4) (Thur) Lawa in Pae Village: Please pray for the following: 1) See and her baby to be healthy so that she will be able to keep her baby until closer to the time the baby is due on 23 September, 2) Safety in travel and God's help for Dough's mother as she has a doctor appointment today, 3) God to encourage everyone who serves in the church, 4) All the church members to be healthy, understand each other well and experience loving fellowship together, and 5) God to provide a full time pastor.

5) (Fri) Thai Song Dam (from Suphanburi Province) and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Increased understanding about the Lord for the children who attend the Good News Club at the church on Saturdays, 2) Understanding and salvation for Bung-on who is interested in knowing more about God and is a guardian of one of the children, 3) Nut and Nam-phet to grow in their faith, 4) Good health for the elderly church members and protection from falling and accidents, 5) Strength, wisdom and good health for Pastor Chalao and the committee members of the church as they serve God, and 6) God to provide a full time couple to serve at the church next year.

6) (Sat) Please pray for the following for Jaew: Wisdom, strength and good health as she does the office accounts, prepares documents for the work permit renewal of one volunteer, and strength and peace for her younger brother who is living with Jaew, so he can continue to work in Chiangmai to support his family who live in Jaew's hometown in Ubon Province.

7) (Sun) From Lot's family: Please pray for the following: 1) Complete healing and successful treatment for Rappon's chronic skin infection as she takes immunosuppressants and applies steroid creams, 2) Wisdom and strength for Anna and Maethee as they work, 3) Strength, good health and safety in travel for everyone in Lot's family, and 4) God's blessing as the family members serve in their churches.

8) (Mon) Thai Song Dam Group in Kanchanaburi Province: Please pray for the following: 1) Five youth who are studying God's Word in preparation for baptism, 2) Strength and good health for the children and Pastor Song, 3) People in the community to truly open their hearts to receive Jesus, and 4) Wisdom for Pastor Song as she serves the Lord.

9) (Tue) So Thavung Group: Please pray for the following:  1) Khan to choose to eat healthy foods, 2) Ying to have regular paid work, 3) The Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of Khan, Jen, Maliwan and Canthip, to give them a greater hunger for God, 4) Good health for all of the villagers, 5) Good harvest for the crops, 6) Jen to believe in Jesus and overcome temptation, 7) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Apisit and Pastor Lek as they serve the Lord and safety in travel, and 8) Unity for those attending a multi-church network meeting and for safety in travel.

10) (Wed) GRNT is trying to evaluate the two dialects of the Mon recordings before visiting and doing further research of the Mon people in October.  Thank the Lord that one of our contacts has already listened to the recordings and wants to talk about them with us, and another contact just received the MP3 player with the recordings recently that we sent.  Pray for God's provision of finances and that He will lead us to the right people to help decide whether to continue using the current recordings and if new or additional recordings are needed.  

11) (Thur) MGT wants to continue to visit Karen, Lahu and the Mpi in various places to share recordings and encourage people. Please pray for finances, wisdom and direction.

12) (Fri) Nyaw: GRNT has Nyaw friends and ministry partners in several locations. Please pray for wisdom and God's direction for GRNT as they discuss with these partners what to record in a new recording in the Nyaw language.

13) (Sat) Vietnamese Thai prayer requests: Thank God that Jiw's son came back to the Lord and is serving Him and that MP3 players have been distributed in Mukdahan and Nakhon Phanom Provinces. Please pray for the following: 1) God to open the hearts of the people who received MP3 players and for the leaders to have time to follow them up, and 2) Wisdom, good health and safety in travel for Pastor Narong, Pastor Tinh, and all the leaders.

14) (Sun) Vietnamese Thai prayer requests: Please pray for the following: 1) Good health for Ngiek and her husband and for God to give them a desire to attend church, 2) Saus and Jiw as they share the Gospel with their children and relatives, that God will be glorified, 3) For all of the Christians to sense God's presence with them always, and 4) Wisdom, good health and safety in travel for Pastor Tam and Teacher Haang as they share the Gospel.

15) (Mon) Nyah Kur and Isaan Groups: Praise God that the guests who attended the wedding of G's grandson in the USA returned home safely. Please pray for the following: 1) the Holy Spirit to encourage B's niece who has cancer, 2) Good health for Santi and for him to be able to quit smoking, 3) The leaders and church members to walk closely with the Lord every day, 4) Strength and good health for Lem and her relatives, and 5) The Holy Spirit to open the hearts of people who have heard the Gospel via the MP3 players.

16) (Tue) Ugong: Praise God that Pastor Chalao's team visited and gave gifts to the villagers. Thank God that Phen has a job. Please pray for the following: 1) Sufficient rain for the corn crop, 2) Growth in grace for the Ugong believers who in the past helped translate and helped speak on the recording, and for God to open the hearts of helpers who haven't believed, 3) The children and grandchildren of Maat and Jum to receive Jesus soon, and 4) Healing for Som's knee and for her to have increased hunger for the Lord.

17) (Wed) Nyeu: Thank God that GRNT's Nyeu partner, Paw, has continued to distribute MP3 players. Pray that God will use the recordings in the lives of the Nyeu people who received them, all of whom are Buddhist. Pray for wisdom for GRNT concerning making another recording in the Nyeu language in the future.

18) (Thur) Thank God that Lot's ear is better. Please pray for the health and protection of all the GRNT staff and their children.

19) (Fri) Please pray for God's provision of finances for the staff, the various projects and also the operation of the GRNT office.

20) (Sat) Phu Thai Renu and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Meeting on Sundays in various believers' homes to help expand the kingdom of God, 2) Phan, Ui and her family to return to the Lord, as they have strayed from Him, 3) A solution to the Thai- Cambodia border situation and for national peace and safety, and 4) God to bring healing to the hearts of those burdened with debt, and for the destitute to come to know the Lord.

21) (Sun) Kayah: Please pray for wisdom and direction in how to best evaluate four old recordings in several Kayah dialects to know whether they are suitable for distribution.

22) (Mon) From Dan and Na Tisdale in the USA: Please pray for the Tisdale's faithful supporters to not give up on them as they continue to wait for Na's US citizenship to be approved, "perhaps today". 

23) (Tue) The team of ministry partners (not GRN staff) in a nearby country: Please pray for the following: 1) Healing for Nue, Aem and others who are not well, 2) Wisdom for the leaders as they prepare for training next month, 3) Wisdom for the language research team as they check scripts for three languages before recording, 4) God to bless Mrs. L as she teaches children in Finland, and 5) Wisdom, good health and the provision of every need for those who check MP3 players, download recordings, and teach how to use the MP3 players in evangelizing.

24) (Wed) From Boi's family: Praise God that 3 of Khana's friends have been coming to church at her invitation. Please pray for the following: 1) Khana to be a good example to her friends, 2) Our ministry to be very fruitful, and good health for the family, and 3) Wisdom for Aom as she studies the Bible and good management of her time.

25) (Thur) Yoy and other groups: Please pray for the following: 1) God to lead and strengthen Da and her family daily as they serve the Lord, 2) God to help families in the church who are in debt to be able to get out of debt, 3) Good health and growth in faith for all the church members, and 4) Good health for Song Phan and her husband, for God to bless their sales and for them to increasingly listen to God.

26) (Fri) Isaan and other Groups: Please pray for the following: 1) Wisdom for Pastor Prasit's family as they plan their ministry in Phu-khiew, for sufficient finances for the ministry, a good location to sell their sweets, and good health for the family, 2) Wisdom and good health for Pastor Supote and his wife as they serve the Lord and follow up new believers, and 3) Wisdom and the provision of every need for Pastor Rosh and June as they serve the Lord and evangelize, and for good income as June sells sweets.

27) (Sat) From Joshua and Gloria: Praise God that Joshua met with church leaders and pastors in Maetang and they all shared about their ministries, God's grace and love. Please pray for the following: 1) Unity in mind and heart for Joshua and those local pastors and evangelists to spread the Gospel and expand the kingdom of God, 2) Wisdom and ability for Joshua's students as they study Korean with him on Saturday mornings, 3) God's help to resolve some building issues at the Esther Center and for the Center to be used for God's glory, and 4) Wisdom for Paul to take care of his family, help his students prepare well for upcoming soccer games in Bangkok and Korea, and teach English.

28) (Sun) Phu Thai and other groups in Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan Provinces: Please pray for the following: 1) God's direction in starting cell groups to disciple and plant churches in three villages, 2) The team who follows up evangelistic contacts, and 3) The provision of funds to build an extension on the church,

29) (Mon) Phu Thai and other groups in Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan Provinces: Please pray for the following: 1) Strength for Pastor Wichai as he serves God, and safety in travel as he goes to various places, 2) Strength, wisdom and good health for Pastor Meesak and his wife Nim as they serve the Lord Jesus, 3) God's blessing on evangelism and discipling in cell groups (house churches) and 4) Evangelistic outreach to reach to districts where there are no Christians.

30) (Tue) Phu Thai Nakae and other groups in Nakhon Phanom Province: Please pray for the following: 1) God to provide a full time pastor for Renu Nakhon Church, 2) Wisdom to develop a business appropriate for ministry, 3) Wisdom for youth leaders in Nakhon Phanom Province attending a meeting to discuss how to help the youth in the various churches grow in Christ, 4) Good health for all of God's servants, and 5) Deliverance from demonic oppression and salvation from sin for a lady who is staying on the church property, who is Animistic, loud, aggressive and a smoker.
