The Halders came to Australia in 1979 to study at the Bible College of Victoria and graduated in 1981.
In May 1983 God called them to join Global Recordings Network to take the challenge to Bangladesh where most people cannot read or write.
After two years' training in Sydney they returned to pioneer GRN in Bangladesh. David is also the founder and National Director of the HELP Children's Home in Savar.
David and Namita are based in Bangladesh, but return to Australia periodically to visit their two sons.
Their vision for the future of GRN in Bangladesh is to make and distribute more language recordings, despite the difficulties of working in a Muslim country.
