Noel and Mary BachelorNoel & Mary have spent a lot of time in Darwin NT doing recordings in Aboriginal languages. Noel is now the Global Studio team leader, and helps keep GRN on the cutting edge of recording technology, and they often help with training of both new and experienced recordists. Mary works in the office in reception and sales. | |
Graydon (and Wendy) ColvilleGraydon is the National Director of GRN Australia, which includes responsibility for the Australian bases in Myanmar and the Solomon Islands. He is also the GRN Regional Coordinator for the Oceania Region, Acting Director for GRN PNG and Chair of the GRN International Council and Executive committee. | |
Darren and Elise CooperDarren is our Production Manager, overseeing the manufacture of the Saber hand wind digital player. Elise maintains the content of the GRN website part time while looking after their two children. | |
Greg (and Elsa) CooperGreg has both field and commercial experience as a Linguist. In GRN he tracks and researches languages and dialects to help prioritise and plan future recordings. He is also supervising training in introductory field linguistics. | |
Wira (and Debby) DharmaWira is our newest staff member. He works part time in the mission as an Accountant, looking after all the day-to-day financial affairs of the ministry. | |
Royalene EdwardsRoyalene works as a volunteer in the Sydney office to help in the promotional side of the work. She also looks after the maintenance of GRN property. | |
Andrew and Nellie FrancisAndrew and Nellie have been dedicated workers at GRN Australia for several years in the assembly and warehousing areas. Andrew handles shipping of orders to all over the world. Nellie works in production, assembly and packing. | |
David and Namita HalderDavid is National Director of HELP Bangladesh. The family is based in Australia, but David spends about half of his time in Bangladesh, accumulating many frequent flyer points. Namita helps in the Sydney office and assembly. | |
Kim and Meryl KnightKim is an experienced recordist, and also does training of other recordists overseas. Meryl helps in various admin tasks and basic studio tasks. They are based in Western Australia. | |
Chris and Cheryl MasonChris and Cheryl are both trained recordists. In their two decades of service they have been based in Europe, Africa and Australia. They are now on assignment in Vanuatu. | |
Beryl MateteBeryl worked part time for a year in the Sydney studio, remastering old recordings, and converting cassette-based material. She is now based in New Zealand continuing some audio processing and doing promotional work. | |
Rob and Kathy McDonellRob is the Business Manager, with responsibility for the mission's administration, finance and information systems. He is also resident programmer and GRN webmaster. Kathy is full time looking after their five children. | |
David and Katrina MillerDavid is our Information Technology Specialist, managing the Australian computer network, developing new systems, and participating in the international Information Systems team. Katrina looks after the mailing list in the office. | |
Graham (and Sue) SchabelGraham provides technical support within Australia and overseas in analogue and digital recording equipment and information technology. He also supports the Saber hand wind digital player, and is involved with it's ongoing development. | |
Alex and Sybil ShawAlex is the Recordings and Studio Manager, coordinating these activities in Australia. He is also Recordist Development Mobiliser for GRN, arranging training for recordists around the world. Sybil is an experienced recordist, and does recording work within Australia, PNG and other places. |
