Salita ng Talata

A long time ago before God sent Jesus to this earth to be born, the children of Israel lived in Egypt. God said something sad was going to happen because of sin. On a certain night called the Passover, at 12 o'clock, the oldest child in each family would suddenly die. How terrible, and how sad that would be! But God also said something else.

"Good news! Good news! Everybody listen! God has sent a message that all who want to can be saved if they will believe these words and obey. Take a pure little lamb, kill it and put the blood on the outside of the door, and when the time comes for the people to die, God will protect all the homes where the blood is on the door, and no one will be hurt."

What wonderful news! Let us imagine we are there with a little boy named John. (Pause 4 seconds). He is down at the sheep corral with his father saying, "Father, why are you going to kill that nice little lamb? " He answered, "Because on the night of the Passover God says YOU will have to die, but He says if we kill this lamb and put the blood on the door it can die in your place. If I don't kill the lamb, YOU will have to die! It is either the lamb or you, my son."

The night of judgment came. 9 o'clock came; (Recordist: insert sound here, of chime or clang, which would indicate the time) 10 o'clock; (chime) 12 o'clock (chime). And death struck all the homes of the Egyptians and unbelievers. Oh, what crying and wailing. (Have several people wail here for about 5 sec.)

But John was saved because they had obeyed God and had put the blood of the lamb on the door. He was happy, and so were all the people who believed God. (Chorus, "Glory. I'm saved" or some other redemption chorus, if time.)

Many years after this happened, Jesus came down from heaven. He is the Son of God, and He is also called the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. He died on the cross so that you could be saved. He that believes on the Lord Jesus Christ has everlasting life, but he that does not believe has the wrath of God on Him.

Have you believed on Him? He is alive now. Close your eyes and ask Him to come into your heart and save you from sin. Believe that His Word is true and that He will do just what He says. Then you too can sing," Glory, I'm saved." (Add chorus, if time).
