Delfin Ovalle, is a retired automatic transmission mechanic from Sydney of Chilean background and is actively involved in Church ministry. He started out as a team member 5 years ago, he's been going back ever since and is now leading the yearly trips to Peru.

The Mission
The mission team works under the leadership of GRN Peru staff to encourage local Christians and share the Good News of Jesus with those who don't know him. We will distribute evangelistic audio recordings in Quechua Ancash and Ashaninka languages. The trip will involve local orientation, visiting mountain communities and some sightseeing opportunities.
What to Expect
In each community there may be evangelistic meetings when the materials will be distributed. Team members may share their testimonies and minister from the Bible with an interpreter.
Accommodation varies from motel rooms to village houses. Local food may include anticuchos, pachamanca (traditionally spiced and cooked meats) and ceviche (citrusmarinated seafood).
Cost
Total cost will be approximately $3600 which includes airfaire, local travel, insurance, accomodation and food. This is paid by installments, the first being a non-refundable registration fee of $500 due by May 20th.
Support
Team members are expected to inform their local church of the mission trip to gain prayer support and encouragement. Peru is located on the Western coast of South America. The landscape ranges from Andes Mountains to the Amazon Jungle, which often isolates indigenous communities.
