That's a Good Question! - by Allan Starling

Recently someone told us that half the world has never made a phone call. In addition to not having telephones or computers, many of these people cannot read. So why are we putting so much effort into placing our recordings on the Internet? As it turns out, there are a number of good reasons.

Most missionaries have access to the Internet. We plan to make it easy for them to download the messages to play them to the peoples in their own languages.

Not all unreached people are strangers to modern technology. Many who live in closed countries now have access to an Internet cafe where they can hear their language on a recording and even take it home to listen in private.

It is difficult, risky or even impossible to mail cassettes to certain countries. We can now upload the messages at our end and recipients can download them at their end. The messages can then be copied on cassettes and given to a wider audience.

Technology is advancing and the web is spreading to places that were once inaccessible. The Internet is a tool that has been used for both commercial and evil purposes. It can also be used for good. And what better way than to spread the greatest message anyone could hear - in the language of their heart.
