Almost through another week. Time is sure flying!
I've been reading Capturing Voices, the biography of Joy Ridderhof, GRN's founder. It's one of those challenging books where the central person walks totally dependent on God. It is challenging to think how we can exercise our own dependence on God in our work and allow him more glory!
I have had some breakthroughs with OPSI, and I'm making progress on building an audio workstation automatically. I am making a small deviation to use the same tool to install an upgrade of our anti virus tool on office machines. That has presented a few issues, but I expect things will get smoother as I understand how this system works.
The synchronisation of the copy masters continues, and now they ask me to get the program masters synchronised too! It's likely we will have to ship some disks around again to catch up. That can be cheaper and faster than transfers across the Internet.
My project list is growing (I won't bore you with the details yet), so now it is a matter of working out before God which ones are the priority ones.
Each day we hear stories of how God is using the recordings. Today we heard about an Indian computer Engineer who discovered recordings in his language on the web site! He is keen to be involved in the work so that other Indians can here the good news from God. Project India aims to make recordings in another 1200 Indian languages and dialects! I suspect that perhaps God can use someone with computer skills in India as well!
