The other day I sat in on one of the most exciting meetings that I have done so in a long time.

Can a meeting ever be exciting? Well this one was. Admittedly only because of what it was about.

As you may know if you have read much of this site, GRN is in the process of developing it's next generation Audio player. It's so new that it hasn't even got a name yet. You could say that it is just another MP3 player. But there is a lot more to this unit.

Consider being in the middle of nowhere with no power, your batteries are going flat and still you can listen to your favorite music track!

Well GRN are producing just such a unit. It is not exactly an Ipod and you wont be able to fit it into your back pocket but it is an MP3 player.

Of course the unit is not designed to be used for the latest download of your favorite rapper. It is a tool for telling the story of Jesus in every language.

Well the Global Recording Network has managed over the last year to record the message of salvation in over 5669 languages and dialects. This material has now started to be migrated onto a computer server.

Imagine no border barriers, and once you have the player and a memory card, no more issues with customs. Not to mention no power issues. Just download the language you want and off you go.

Now without having to learn every language of the people group you are trying to reach, all you need is the trade language and the new MP3 player. You are now equipped to go to the most remote areas of the planet and present the words of life.

Instead of years of training, study and preparation your ready to reach a new people group within minutes.
