Dennis & Glenys Tranter and their four sons were originally from Victoria. They worshipped at Frankston Presbyterian Church before entering into the ministry.
Dennis studied at Presbyterian Theological College in Melbourne, and went on to preach part time in country Victoria.
From there, the family worked in the Northern Territory for a number of years in a place called Borroloola.
They worked in the church and ministered to several outstations and communities in that area.
While there, they felt the burden to develop teaching material for the indigenous people. Most people in these areas do not have English as their first language. This makes reading the Bible and other related literature very hard, or almost impossible.
In joining GRN, they will seek to write, develop and record the teaching material, so that people will be able to hear the Word of God in their own language.
