How to be Saved

God with His infinite knowledge has prepared a simple and wonderful plan of salvation, simple enough that even a child can understand. Being that it is so simple, many despise it. Beloved listener are you a person who is without peace, bitter and disappointed with life and can't find tranquility for your conscience?

Give me your attention for a moment and think that you are standing before God as a sinner. For it is written in the scripture "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God".

Sin is more serious than you might think or imagine, there are eternal consequences. Do not worry about the sins of others because everyone has to answer before God. Recognize your own sins and repent of them. You must recognize with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for you as well as everyone in the world. You must personally accept and apply that Christ died for you and carried your sins upon himself on the cross. This was accomplished for our salvation. You need to recognize that this world can not offer anything to erase sin.

You can be a moral person and do many good deeds, even that will not cleanse you from sin. God say that even though you wash yourself with lye and soap you will still be in sin before God. It is the virtuous blood of Christ that cleanses us from our sins. His promise to us is that even "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." It is up to you to recognize that only Christ can save you. For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. You will just be wasting your time looking for another way to be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

I want to make this simple plan of salvation clear to you. Just repeat, "I am a sinner, Christ died for me, His blood cleanses me of all sin, and Jesus Christ is able to save me." Do you believe these four things? If you believe, there is only one thing left for you to do. Accept Jesus in your heart as your personal savior and you will have eternal salvation.
