Become a missionary intern with GRN!
Are you looking for a place to serve God and to use your gifts and skills to extend His Kingdom? If so, there are many opportunities available at Gospel Recordings. Our intern program offers tailor-made programs to suit your availability, gifts and resources. Internships provide cross-cultural ministry experience and discipleship training. This will help you gain a better understanding of world evangelism and the unique and vital part that audio evangelism plays in overcoming difficult language and literacy barriers.
Internships offer:
- Practical ways to use your abilities to reach the unreached
- Training in various areas of missionary work
- Flexible programs lasting from one month to one year
- A chance to accompany a recordist on a quest for a Bible-less language
- And much more!!
An intern should be at least 18 years of age and a Christian. Each intern should have a team of partners who will commit to pray regularly. Interns are responsible for their own living and travel expenses, but our programs are very economical. We do all we can to minimize expenses.
Each program is tailor-made to suit the individual. Options include working at one or more of our offices in California and overseas. Depending on the participant's available time and financial resources, a combination of places can be designed into the program.
Options for ministry include involvement in cassette outreaches (in Mexico, for example) and assisting recordists on their travels. There is also a wide variety of work to be done at one of our offices - cassette and CD duplication, computer sound editing, bookkeeping, research, administration, electronics, graphics, writing, etc.
So, if you love the Lord and want to serve Him, there is probably a place for you at Gospel Recordings. Come for a few weeks in the summer - or for a few months to get your feet wet. But beware. Some of us came for a few months' trial and are still here after many years! But, we are still excited about being used by the Lord! Anyhow, why not contact us and go over some possibilities.
