Office Manager

Location - This person will primarily be working in the GRN Canada office in Hamilton.

Requirements - An individual considering this position should be a committed believer in Jesus Christ as Saviour, have an exemplary Christian character and testimony. The person applying will also be in agreement with the Bylaws and the doctrinal statement of the mission. Application to this position will be reviewed by the Board of Directors for approval. Management and financial background are necessary for this position. It is preferred that a fulltime person takes on this responsibility, but a part-time option may be considered.

Responsibilities - The office manager will be overall responsible for the operation of the office in the absence of the Executive Director. The primary responsibilities include receipting of donations; payment of invoices and bank transfers to the field. This individual should be familiar with standard accounting practices, be able to keep accurate records and provide financial reports as needed. Those under the supervision of the office manager include the receptionist/secretary; production manager; prayer coordinator and oversee the volunteers who come into the office.

Others duties may include promoting the mission as time permits. On occasion the office manager can be involved in helping with short-term exposure trips to GRN fields.

Funding -The office manager is expected to have the backing of his/her church and friends as he/she steps out in faith trusting God to provide for his/her needs. For further details regarding salary and benefits please contact the Executive Director.

Regional Mobilizers

Need - 4 regions; Pacific Region (BC); Midwest Region (Ab, SK, MB); Central Region (ON); Atlantic Region (includes Quebec)

Requirements - An individual considering this position should be a committed believer in Jesus Christ as Saviour, have an exemplary Christian character and testimony. The person applying will also be in agreement with the Bylaws and the doctrinal statement of the mission. The individual should have good organizational skills. Application to this position will be reviewed by the Board of Directors for approval. It is preferred that a fulltime person takes on this responsibility, but a part-time option may be considered.

Responsibilities - Regional Mobilizers are responsible to develop the ministry of GRN Canada in their given region. It is understood that gifting and abilities will vary, this will influence the methods used by the Regional Mobilizers to fulfill their responsibilities. This involves speaking engagements on behalf of the mission at churches, mission fests and Bible schools. They will promote the use of GRN materials and develop the donor base for the mission in their region. In consultation with the Short-term coordinator they will promote and possibly lead exposure trips to GRN fields of service. The development of a prayer network in the region is also a key part of the ministry. The Regional Mobilizer will have freedom to develop their daily schedule as best enables them to develop their region. Monthly financial and activity reports will be submitted to the head office. A budget for the region will be presented for approval before the coming year. The Regional Mobilizer should be seeing an increasing commitment of funds from the region to adequately cover the costs of travel and other expenses.

Funding - Regional Mobilizers are expected to have the backing of their church and friends who will provide for their personal financial needs. Funds received for representing the mission will be directed to the needs of the mission. GRN Canada will provide a travel allowance and expenses based upon the Board approved budget. Short-term Mobilizer

Need - One person is needed for this position who will be working out of the GRN Hamilton office. GRN Canada has conducted mission exposure trips to Mexico on a limited scale. It is our desire to see these opportunities increase and to include other GRN countries of ministry.

Requirements - An individual considering this position should be a committed believer in Jesus Christ as Saviour, have an exemplary Christian character and testimony. The person applying will also be in agreement with the Bylaws and the doctrinal statement of the mission. The individual should have strong organizational skills and experience working with young people. Application to this position will be reviewed by the Board of Directors for approval. It is preferred that a fulltime person takes on this responsibility, but a part-time option may be considered.

Responsibilities - The short-term mobilizer will be responsible for planning mission exposure trips to GRN countries of service. This will involve consulting GRN fields to develop opportunities for mission exposure trips and intern positions. Mission representation and speaking opportunities will be conducted to share about the opportunities for short-term exposure trips as well as intern positions available. The Short-term Mobilizer will work with the Regional Mobilizers in promoting the opportunities available. This position requires a person that is able to travel overseas on occasion and capable of leading a team. The Short-term Mobilizer will be responsible for planning, implementation and follow-up for the teams being sent out. The person in this position will be directly responsible to the Executive Director.
