Bases are under the authority of the Director and Board of another country. A Base has no local governance board but may have a local advisory committee.

PNG is the most linguistically diverse nation in the world, with 870 languages and dialects spoken in a population of around seven million people. Many languages have no access to the gospel.
The diversity of the languages, the difficulty of access to some areas and a number of cultural issues make bringing the gospel to PNG a very challenging task - but with God - not impossible.
GRN PNG's ministry was dormant for a number of years and GRN Australia is currently re-establishing this ministry.
