GRN: Where do you live?
Maritza: I live in Xenia, Ohio. Even though there is no GRN office here, I can still serve the mission by using my computer and going on mission trips.
GRN: When did you come to know the Lord?
Maritza: Gave my life to Christ as a young girl, and was baptize at age of 15.
GRN: Have you been involved in any Christian work?
Maritza: I began serving the Lord at age 16 with mission teams reaching out to migrant farm workers in the area where I lived.
GRN: What type of involvement have you had with GRN?
Maritza: I have accompanied many mission trips to Mexico as translator, cook, trainer and guide. I have participated in many outreaches to ethnic immigrants here in the USA, including cities like Washington DC, Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit. In 2010 I started serving as translator between English and Spanish for GRN USA publications and correspondence
GRN: Are you involved in your local church?
Maritza: I am very involved in my local church through Awana, VBS programs, and home Bible study. I am also involved in local outreach opportunities including ESL classes and ethnic events.
GRN: Do you have a family?
Maritza: I am so honored to be a mom of three wonderful children, Ruby, Joshua, and Dulce. They are also very involved serving in their school and church.
GRN: Do you have a favorite Bible verse?
Maritza: I have two life verses. "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain". (1 Cor.15:58) and "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21)
