Three GRN Sierra Leone workers joined with nearly forty others from different missions and countries to carry out the "Kono Area Crusade" in March 2007. 16 villages were covered, 8,290 people indicated a desire to follow Christ, 463 adults were baptized and 3 new churches were planted.

The GRN team and 3 others spent the week in Kayima village; visiting people in their homes and using GRN materials to share the Gospel, visiting school, showing Christian films and holding revival meetings in the evenings. Nearly 400 people indicated a desire to follow Jesus.

95 is not too old to start again!

22 people said they wanted to be baptized but only 11 showed up! One 95 year old man heard the Gospel and believed. He told the team, "I am 1 day old in Christ!" and begged them to take the message to his own village where the people needed to hear about Jesus.

Pray that the new believers will be established and grow in their faith. Pray that churches in the areas will be active and effective in follow up.
