TRAINING COURSE IN COLOMBIA
At least six trainee recordists are expected to be trained in Bogata, Colombia this fall. This is part of the Americas Project, an intentional push to prepare evangelism and discipleship materials for oral cultures and minority language groups. From the Amazon to the Andes, recording teams still need to deliver the good news to many unreached people groups.
WORKSHOP TO UPGRADE SKILLS
A GRN Technical and Operations Workshop is to be held in Southern California in September. The purpose is to upgrade the knowledge and skills of field trainers and technical and studio personnel. The gathering will bring together GRN personnel from many fields. The upgrade training, prayer and sharing times will provide a great opportunity for mutual growth, encouragement and synergy.
The GRN Language Tracking team has compiled a listing of approximately 1600 heart languages of India. This list will be a tremendous prayer and planning tool as we set our sights on systematically recording the good news for every language group. Our recording teams have produced material in almost 500 of these languages. The listing will indicate which of these need additional material recorded.
An Indian national writes: "I am doing the Lord's ministry in unreached areas. There is no light. Your Hindi cassettes gave twenty people the message of God.. They are confessing the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. God help you and guide you."
