AMERICAS PROJECT

We have several teams involved in recording projects in various parts of South America from the Amazon to the Andes. Taking into account the cost of equipment, training and travel, the cost to record and carry out initial distribution is $2,000 per language.

DIGITAL AUDIO VAULT

At our mobilization center in Temecula, we store all of our recordings in a digital format on high capacity servers. As more recordings are added we need to increase our storage ability. The cost of the next phase to increase server capacity is $10,000.

PROJECT INDIA

We are in the process of training more recording teams in India. Once trained, we want to deploy the teams to many parts of that great land. The average cost for recording is $2,000 per language.

PROVIDE 100 CDs OR CASSETTES FOR UNREACHED PEOPLES

While we sell most of our materials at a subsidized rate, we do provide grants to those who are poor and unable to purchase cassettes. We don't want anyone to be hindered from hearing the gospel because of finances. For us to provide 100 "free" CDs or cassettes costs $250 including shipping.

PROVIDE A PLAYER FOR A RURAL VILLAGE

We make hand wind audio players available for playing the gospel in rural African and Asian villages. The cost to provide a cassette player averages $40 each, or a digital player averages $60.

PUBLICATIONS

We send out our Sounds newsletter every two months at a cost of $6,000 an issue. This covers printing and postage. Sponsorship of an issue would be a great help.

SIBERIA

We have a team in this region of Russia to record Bible stories and teachings in each of the 30 ethnic languages. To sponsor the recording of a language costs on average $2,500 per language. In addition, the team needs a 4WD for transportation at an approximate cost of $15,000.

SUPPORT OF A NATIONAL TEAM

The work of Global Recordings Network is greatly increased through the faithful service of national coworkers in many African and Asian countries. An individual national worker can be supported for $150/month. A team of families and singles in most field offices can be supported for $700/month. Monthly support in any amount will be a great help and encouragement.
