At GRN Australia we believe we have some of the best jobs in the world!

Each day we get to make a difference. Missionaries and churches across the world receive resources to reach the unreached. People hear the gospel, often for the first time. And we all get to play a part.

Would you also like to make a difference?

You can be part of it, whether out and about doing recording or distribution, in our Sydney centre editing audio or at home working remotely as a member of our part time virtual IT team.

If so please contact us. We have many opportunities and would welcome a coffee and a chat.

Opportunities for service with GRN can be full time (f), part time (p), or in a voluntary capacity (v). Young workers and immigrants can gain useful work experience here, and early retirees can find a satisfying second career with us.

Ambassador - Represent GRN in your church

  • Are you an active member of a local church?
  • Does the thought of playing a part in reaching the unreached with the Good News excite you?

If so we would love to talk to you.

GRN works on the cutting edge of world missions. Our passion is for those with no translated Scriptures, and those who are unable to read well enough to understand them. We do this by producing audio recordings of evangelistic materials. We've done this now for over 6,000 languages and are very often the first evangelistic materials in these languages.

We are looking for Ambassadors who would like to apply to represent us in their local church. Ambassadors are given the opportunity (without pressure) to represent us in ways that suit them. For example you could:

  • Distribute our Prayer Guide to your church prayer team
  • Leave a newsletter on the church brochure stand
  • Pass on suggested Facebook messages that tell others our latest news.
  • Tell the young adults in your church about our short term missions
  • Invite the walking group in your church to participate in a trek in Peru or Nepal distributing our materials.

The opportunities are endless.

The commitment is small - we regularly feed you with ideas and you take on those of interest to you.

For more information please contact us. We would love to hear from you.

  • Does the thought of travelling for weeks at a time to some of the remotest places on earth excite you? playing a part in reaching the unreached with the Good News excite you?
  • Do you believe that you could be trained to operate our sound and computer equipment?

If so we would love to talk to you.

GRN recordists are on the cutting edge of world missions. We work with high priority languages that typically have not yet had a bible translated or where there are many who are not able to read well enough to understand it. When churches or missionaries want to reach these people groups they request that a GRN Recordist produce the materials for them. Typically it takes 1-4 weeks to produce the audio recordings. GRN provides all training in recording techniques, linguistics and cross-cultural issues. You will see the world, work with some amazing people and if you want to, have the opportunity to work in some of the remotest regions on earth.

Audio Editors (Training Provided)

  • Does the thought of playing a part in reaching the unreached with the Good News excite you?
  • Do you believe that you could be trained to use our computers to edit audio files?

If so we would love to talk to you.

The role on offer is to be trained in audio technologies. You will be involved in recording work, training recordists, editing and programing new recordings, and doing research and development. This role overlaps and complements the work of Recordists and Electronics Technicians, but international travel is optional. You will work out of our brand new Sydney sound studio, and GRN provides all training.

Important Notes

There are no salaried positions in GRN Australia. Members are supported through the gifts of God's people. See our financial information, and then contact us for further information.

The above notes are not a formal job description. There is flexibility in all positions and, as members of a small team, everyone needs to do 'other' things in a spirit of willing service. More detailed job descriptions are developed to suit each individual.

If you are interested in any of these ministry opportunities, or want to be involved with GRN in any way at all, contact us now! If possible, try to visit us at our head office in Sydney, and see the mission first hand.

If you think you might be interested in joining this ministry full time or part time, then you can get things started by filling in the Candidate Questionaire.
