Vital Project

"Tailenders" are the smallest and most isolated language groups, with less than 50,000 people, to whom the Gospel has never been proclaimed. There are about 1500 such language groups in India. By virtue of their smallness, they rarely qualify to be on anyone's priority list.

Project Tailenders began with a fresh vision for the unreached peoples of our land. We desire to provide recordings that sow seeds of Christian truth among the minority language speakers to create spiritual hunger for the Living God.

United Effort

God's desire is that the Gospel goes to all peoples and every language group in India. If this task is to be completed, Gospel Recordings alone cannot accomplish it. We need to work together with other missions who have a passion for lost souls.

God is doing a great work through missions in India. Much has been done, but much is still left undone. As it gets harder and harder to reach out with the Gospel in our beloved land, we need to combine all our resources and as one mission reach out. There are danger signals all around us. The forces of evil are moving faster than we expect and we don't know when the door of opportunity will close. To halt the progress of the enemy of souls, our goal of partnering with other missions is most essential.

Who Are We?

Gospel Recordings Association is a mission with almost forty years of experience in reaching non-literates in our land. We have good contacts with other missions throughout the country. Over the years, we have recorded over 450 languages and dialects on tape with the simple Gospel truth.

This tool allows us to communcate with these "least, last and lost" quite economically. Won't it be great if even the smallest tribe can finally hear God's plan of salvation in a language they can clearly understand?

Our Plan of Action

We want to reach the Tailenders in India in several stages. In the first stage we will distribute 150,000 cassettes with the message of salvation to 300 priority language groups. Along with the cassettes a total of 2000 players will be given out.
