Dear Friends of LRI,
Over the last decade, the many Language Recordings and Gospel Recordings centres around the world have been working towards becoming a truly international mission. The process is not complete but the time has come to 'go public'. Staffed by mostly indigenous personnel, there are more than 40 Centres, Bases and other Agencies in this international partnership. It has already resulted in more effective ministry, improved approaches to training and funding, pooling resources for special projects, improved accountability, better management and much, much more.
In line with the decision taken at our International Council meetings last year, and to demonstrate our commitment to this international partnership, Language Recordings Inc. will now be known as
Global Recordings Network Australia
Our core commitment remains unchanged: to reach every people group with the good news of Jesus Christ in their heart language.
Over the years God has wonderfully blessed the ministry of Gospel Recordings and Language Recordings. He has blessed us with many faithful people who have prayed and supported the work financially and many enthusiastic and skilled volunteers as well.
We look forward with excitement to this new phase of our ministry. We believe that the strengthening of our identity and bonds of fellowship internationally will result in increasingly effective work for the Kingdom in the years ahead.
We invite you to continue to be a part of this strategic ministry. We still need people who will pray, who will give, and some who will get involved as volunteers. We are also asking the Lord for more full time staff.
