Telling the story of Jesus in every language

Recordings for the Ilocano

Good contacts and language helpers are essential to the recording process. Here is one lady in the Philippines who is working with GRN to get the gospel out in the language of the people.

Ms. Cynthia Leppago (pictured) is from Langalilang, Abra in the Philippines.

She was looking at the possibility of getting help in producing the Gospel message in Ilocano. This could complement the other services of the foundation she established, such as feeding and educational programs for marginalized people in the area, and medical and dental assistance for those living in the hinterlands.

Her deep burden to evangelize the people in her province led her to the GR-USA office in Temecula. She was advised to contact the GR Philippine office, and after an exchange of emails, the recording project began, with her serving as language helper.

This partnership has also created opportunities to produce recordings in seven other dialects in the area.

Please pray with us as we prepare for future recordings with Ms. Leppago in Abra. May the Lord honor her faith by drawing many more Abrenian people to Him.
