Alex and Sybil Shaw

Alex Shaw joined Gospel Recordings in 1969. He and his wife Sybil have since lived and worked in over 13 countries. They have one son, Victor, who is married with a son. Victor completed his studies at Bible college in 2012.

Formerly Alex was involved in training national Recordists and has helped some of them to set up GRN offices in their countries. Now, as the Local Ministries Manager, Alex focuses on building relationships with ethnic churches, marketing and promotion of the ministry and the materials.

Sybil helps Alex while also continuing her recording work. To date, she has made recordings of the Gospel in over 200 languages in PNG and other countries.

Since 1998 they have also been organizing Short Term Mission trips to distribute the recordings and partner in outreach programs in PNG, the Solomon Islands, Peru, the Philippines and Kosovo. These provide a wonderful opportunity for Christians to have a taste of living among people of different cultures and sharing their faith by distributing the recordings.
