K and V are staff members of Global Recordings Network USA currently serving in Thailand. Because of security concerns for now and in the future, actual names are not used.
K has served in various roles in GRN in the United States and Thailand for six years. V joined the work after having served with New Tribes Mission in Thailand and Cambodia for over five years.
K was saved as a young child through the influence of Godly parents. He heard about Gospel Recordings as a child, but it was not until he was 34 years of age that he heard God calling him to Gospel Recordings. This was confirmed through a summer outreach trip to Mexico where, in less than two weeks, the team was able to give evangelistic recordings to people speaking 59 different languages and dialects, many of whom would have had no other way to hear the Gospel.
After working at the U.S. headquarters for three years and then receiving recordist training in Nepal, he went to Thailand as a recordist in 2000. His accounting skills have also been used in handling the finances for the work in Thailand.
V was saved at the age of 21 when she came to the United States from South Vietnam. When she felt that God was calling her to become a missionary, she went to Bible school and mission training with New Tribes Mission and she eventually went to Thailand. While there, she had the opportunity to share the Gospel with many Thais and tribal peoples and also to teach women the Bible.
More recently, after spending over a year in Cambodia, she returned to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they were married in 2003.
