Ross and Jan Lange are home based missionaries serving Global Recordings Network working out of their office in North Hollywood. Ross is the GRN Recordings Program Mobilizer and the GRN International Ministries Director. He coordinates the recording program of all field recordists and works with directors of the Global Recordings Network centers and bases. This is an awesome responsibility that requires much correspondence and clear communication. Ross' gifts are a great asset to the worldwide outreach of GRN.
Jan is the GRN Prayer Coordinator and assists Ross in many areas. Not only is she devoted to prayer for the least, the last and the lost, she is a great mobilizer of others, keeping many informed and interceding for the needs of the GRN family.
Both Ross and Jan became Christians early in life; Ross was led to the Lord by his mother at an early age and Jan responded to the Lord when a high school friend invited her to special evangelistic meetings when she was seventeen.
Ross and Jan were both involved in missions for many years before coming to GR. They worked for Every Home for Christ for 25 years, during which time Ross often came to GR to volunteer pressing records. After serving in that ministry to reach the literate people of the world, God called them to come and help reach the illiterate. They have been faithful servants with GR since 1986.
Ross and Jan have two adult children also involved in missionary work.. Tim and his Dutch wife, Margot, have four children, Timothy, Maria, Saskia and Ananda. They work with a missionary tent-making ministry. Their daughter Krista, Honduran son-in-law Gustavo Discua, and children Micah, Zach, Caleb and Hannah live and minister in Bolivia.
Ross and Jan have a tremendous heart for the lost and are actively involved in the missions' outreach of their local church. They are grateful for the support and encouragement of friends and leaders of their church.
Proverbs 3:5-6 are verses that guide and direct not only their personal lives but their ministry to others as well. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Ross and Jan live before others as shining examples of trust in the Lord. We are blessed to have them in the GRN family. Their prayer request is that God would grant Jan improved health, better mobility and movement as she is hindered with rheumatoid arthritis. They ask prayer for physical and spiritual strength for GRN work, and for their personal ministry also.
