Telling the story of Jesus in every language

Volunteers

Working in our language tape vault

The work of GRN is varied - our battle line warriors depend on the home front to keep resources, supplies and prayer covering their assignments. Those of us at headquarters depend on our volunteer troops to supplement our efforts. Together we can effectively accomplish much, bringing us closer and closer to the target of reaching every language group with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Each day volunteers come into our office to help with a variety of tasks. Some come every day, some come occasionally, some have highly technical abilities and some don't. Students from Calvary Chapel College in Murrieta give community service time each semester to GRN. Their help has been valuable to Language Tracking and to our computer teams.

Recently we were blessed by one volunteer troop of workers from a local congregation, Crosspoint Church. One of their home study groups came for an evening work assignment, armed with tools of praise and rejoicing as well as hedge trimmers and leaf blowers. While the men waged war on the weeds, debris, and overgrowth outside the headquarters building, the women tackled a vital, though somewhat tedious, data verification project in our language tape vault.

These nine soldiers gave of their talents and time to help and encourage us here at the home office. With joy and enthusiasm they expressed what an honor it was to be able to give their service. We thank God for bringing them alongside us -- Thank you, Crosspoint Church - and to all our volunteer troops.
